The Ceremony in the Belgium Glass Conservatory

The ceremony was held in the Belgium Glass Conservatory, one of the most distinctive spaces at Royal Park Hotel. Surrounded by glass and filled with natural light, the setting created a soft and romantic atmosphere as guests gathered to witness Nick and Angelica exchange vows.

Cocktail Hour Just Outside the Ballroom

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned to cocktail hour located just outside the Royal Grand Ballroom. This placement allowed for a smooth shift between spaces while the ballroom was finalized for the reception. Guests were able to enjoy the change of pace while remaining close to the main event space.

The Royal Grand Ballroom Reception

The reception took place in the Royal Grand Ballroom, where the design carried through with consistency and intention. Tables were dressed in sage linens and paired with black chairs, creating a structured foundation for the overall look. Centerpieces featured lush greenery with touches of burgundy, and candlelight was incorporated throughout the room to add warmth and continuity across the space.

Sage draping framed the space, while burgundy accents and greenery added depth and contrast, complementing the architecture without overwhelming it. The layout accommodated 165 guests while maintaining an open and inviting atmosphere for dining, toasts, and the evening’s celebration.

The Dining Experience

Dinner service began with a classic RPH Caesar salad, followed by a plated entrée featuring braised boneless short rib with port wine sauce alongside herb grilled chicken breast finished with lemon jus. Accompaniments included smashed parmesan redskin potatoes and roasted asparagus with baby carrots. A grilled vegetable risotto was also offered, prepared with roasted portobello mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, eggplant, and spinach risotto, finished with red pepper coulis.

In honor of Pi Day, a custom small chicken pot pie was prepared as a surprise specifically for the groom, adding a personal element to the dining experience.

Dessert and Late-Night Offerings

Dessert featured a sweet treats station with a variety of options including seasonal fruit, mini pastries, cannoli, brownies, cookies, chocolate mousse, and tiramisu.

Later in the evening, a slider station was introduced as a late-night offering for guests. The selection included a range of options from classic cheeseburgers and pulled pork to fried chicken biscuits and a caprese-style slider, ensuring a variety of choices to close out the night.
